Women Build Bayou Area Habitat for Humanity encourages women in our local community to take the lead in eliminating poverty housing by building homes and communities for families in need. The Women’s Build Program seeks to encourage volunteers to further the home-building mission of Bayou Area Habitat for Humanity. If you would like to be a part of Women Build 2012, May 10th - May 12th please contact 985-447-6999 or [ email ] to sign up for the event. ![]() The Habitat ReStore provides an environmentally and socially responsible way to keep good, reusable materials out of the waste stream while providing funding for Bayou Area Habitat for Humanity’s community mission. The Habitat ReStore has a friendly, fun, community-based atmosphere. A wide variety of volunteer opportunities are available at the Habitat ReStore. By assisting the staff in maintaining and improving the store’s services, volunteers turn their donated time into donated dollars to help the Habitat for Humanity cause!
